new text reader resource.... capti voice

There's a new text reader resource that interfaces beautifully with Bookshare. It is web-based, so works on Chromebooks.  There is line by line highlighting and a few options to customize font and voice.  Give it a try and let us know your thoughts!  Erika, Becca, & Paul

Go to captivoice.com

click 'sign up'

(you'll get a verification email)

log in

go to 'playlist'

click green + circle icon

click on Bookshare

log into Bookshare

choose kiddo

choose book

click playlist again

(may have to refresh page)

click on play button to the right of book title (green arrow)

Taa-daa!

Chrome OS US English voice - I liked better

click on the capital T to change text view options (has open dyslexic font, etc.)
