A very cool resource BVSD offers that many don't know about! OverDrive is a subscription service offered by some school libraries that lets you borrow eBooks, audiobooks, and more from their digital collections. eBooks, in particular, are a wonderful way for students to access text that is above their current reading level. From a device (if the student has their own iPad or iPhone, etc)... Have them install the Overdrive app. Open the app, at bottom of page there will be an option to sign in through your school account, choose this option and follow the instructions to link to their school. Once logged in, they can choose "remember me".... now they have the freedom to scroll through and check out books as they want!
